    Default Idle problems

    Hey all I am having a problem with my idle, it will be fine then sometimes it will start jumping around from say 300 to 900 and after a while it will go into safety mode and reduce power. I get 2 codes relating to TPS. Could this have anything to due with the recent installation of my 1 7/8" LTs and exhaust. I am thinking not but that is all that I have done. I did notice that my intake tube had come free of the silicone hose after the MAF I figured that was it and after i fixed it all seemed well. Then a few hours later it did it again. Any ideas?

    Check all connection for your CAI. Unplug and plug in your MAF. Odds are it is a leak, BUT you did say "loss of power" came on. That is sually a issue with the TB.

    mine was doing something similar, but I had the wrong o2 sensors in after the stock ones were wrecked during my header install...

    mine was more noticeable during driving where it would bog down than accelerate like mad. Charlie got me squared away though.
