Painted black Camaro SS wheels best way to clean
Hi all
My son bought a 2017 Camaro SS Red Line Edition and we washed it Saturday and it has the painted black clear coated wheels and already noticed the fine scratches in them
I used Simply Green sprayed on them with a rag to clean them
Any suggestions I saw Adams has a cling wheel spray and I guess I need a wool wash mit to clean them with lots of soap

You need to get those polished out, then start adding wax.
Rest in Peace Charlie!

Revive Polish and a Microfiber applicator by hand followed by Brilliant Glaze.....followed by Paint Sealant. is what they say on the Adams forum

I agree with Ray. ..You know how fine scratches look on a nice black paint finish.
Using some fine polish no swirl remove ..fine polish should take out the light swirls in them.
(Use the technique that Adams state) but after you polish them out put some wheel wax or carnauba and sealer on them.
I just buffed out my buddies Camaro rims (same black gloss finish) using my flex with 4" fine pad. took about 90% of the swirls out of them.

The only thing I use on my wheels is Adams Car Shampoo and a boars hair brush. I have a sprayer filled with a mixture of ACS and water and I spray the wheels and let it dwell and then respray and clean. Black is going to show fine scratches. It's a PITA, and impossible to keep from happening.

2009.5 MSM GXP 500ish N/A RWHP. Mods include but aren't limited to: Texas Speed 418 (6.8L) fully forged held together with ARP from top to bottom, PRC 255cc heads, Rick Crawford intake plenum, TB port, polish and tune, Roto-Fab 102mm CAI w/LS7 MAF, Kooks 1-7/8" headers wrapped with DEI, Corsa catless system, Circle D 3200 Stall, 3.45 final drive, BMR's complete street bushing kit and sway bars, Eibach Pro Kit, G-Force Axles, running on staggered VMR 710's with Bridgestone RE11 rubber. HSV triple gauge pack with Calais smokers kit mod, V6 tails, debadge/rebadge, V6 door handles, AU black door trim, Maverick Man under hood strut covers, & washer and bolt kit, fully corrected paint thanks to Adams Polishes and my hard work. Built with reliability in mind with some power for those times when you need to pass or go over a big hill. Just a poser, not a racer!

The reason I don't use the wheel cleaner is because it removes the protection I put on them. Their car wash doesn't and my wheels don't get dirty enough to need the wheel cleaner.
