Default I need a little insight to finish installing my PPV radio into the G8

Like the title says guys..... I need help.
I picked up a PPV 9c1 radio face and silverbox. I have checked the threads but am still unsure of a few things. the unit I purchased did not have any provisions for adding the video input plug. As you will see in the pic below. I am also curious as to what I need to re-pin in the G8 harness to get this to work. Here are a few pics...

A few people have made and sell plug in connectors.
You will have to reprogram everything.
Also the video in is in the white plug.
I have been debating on selling my system. It's complete and everything is there. The only thing I did to it was paint the faceplate and trim gloss black. I have a HDMI input setup and dock for my phone for nav and mp3 or whatever. The best way was to Bluetooth the audio and video input the screen of the phone. If your interested pm me. But I'm not sure I want to yet. If I go to anything I think I'll do the android system.

Thanks for the info. I have most of the parts. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I send the radio off for programming. The cables that I have seen for sale seem to plug in beneath the 40 pin connector with a rectangular plug. My radio doesn't have anything for the plug to insert into.

I'm pretty sure my inputs are on that white plug you have in the picture.
Let me see if I can find the sheet and what I did. I haven't seen it in along time.

Wow thats REALLY odd, I've never seen one without the plug. I guess it wouldnt be tested in QC since it would be covered. We DO test the units pretty thoroughly prior to programming if you are worried about it. Also Greg @ Pace sells a plug and play adapter harness for these radios as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I may take the unit apart and see if there is a circuit board that is just missing the connector. If so I will have a TV shop just hardwire the two rca connectors.

It is, I can see the holes for the connector in the board. Probably want to have us do the programming first though, we can test that to verify operation prior
