Default Best 60' times with Converter

Just wanted to get some info on what kind of 60's you guys with converters are running. Would really like to know times with street tires. I'm curious if 1.8s are possible on street tires with a converter.

I hit a 1.78 with a FTI Converter and drag radials. Everything else was stock, I figure I can get that down quite a bit once I add some mods that yield some power.

Impressive. What mods? *EDIT* NM i see in sig

On a side note most of the advantage of the converter is in the launch so if you can get the same 60's without one what is the point of having one if you are running street tires. I understand it will help out with slicks when traction isnt an issue.

I don't drop below 4600 after the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. That equals faster 1/4 mile times.

Also, even with street tires, I can brake stall to 2000rpm and roll into the throttle and get moving quicker than a car with a factory converter.

That tells me with all my extra mods my best 60' of 1.78 can definitely be improved.
