Default Cincy G8s - Anyone gone to fiehrer for service?

Hey guys, I've got an abs fault issue to be taken care of, and I'm going to have the suspension upgraded while I'm there. Anyone had good or bad experiences at fiehrer? In the past I've taken it in to borcherding, but I work in loveland and live in liberty twp. If I'm taking a day off to take the car in I'd rather have it closer to home to avoid the drive out to kings automall. Thanks.

They replaced my LCA with the recall and it was a positive experience. Bigtreepu bought his from there and has had them do some work on it and I believe that he has been happy with them.

Thanks, Marty. My new control arms are on their way, along with an FE3 upgrade, and whiteline bushings. The abs issue appears to be a harness/wire issue, although I won't know for sure until I take it in(my code reader doesn't read abs codes). I traced the wires and double checked the harnesses, and after I messed with them it went from a fault light that turned on after I drove the car a short distance to a light that comes on immediately when I start the car now. Fun fact: Had no issues in the snow on monday, even with no ABS and no traction control(winter tires for the win).

Yep, they are OK, not really mod friendly. Talk to William, he's pretty nice.

You guys need to find a service writer you like and stick with him. Let them know you are part of a larger group and they will treat you differently knowing that you selected them to work on your G8's.

My warranty is gone, so I'm not too concerned about a mod friendly dealership at this point. Fiehrer is close to home, so I'm looking for convenience. As for picking a service writer, this will only be(I think) my second visit to a dealership with my car(my first having been all warranty work--airbag recall/oil pan leak). Even if I had one picked out he'd never remember me, but I do like that idea.

The Indy guys did that with Skilmans in Greenwood, IN. There were guys coming from out of state to go there for service. It's really the car they recognize.
