    Wink VERY happy new owner of a 2009 Sport Red G8 GT!

    Ive been loooking at this forum for a while as ive always wanted a G8, but never posted because I didnt own one. Well that all changed two weeks ago when I picked up my 2009 Sport Red G8 GT with 22k on it.

    The car already has a Solo Mach Shorty cat-back on it and ive since added a Cortex tune to the vehicle.

    I LOVE the car, and so dont alot of other people haha. Ive never owned a car where I get more questions/compliments in my life! With the Solo on it I get alot of looks when I fire it up at gas stations .

    I look forward to picking the brains of the senior members here. I traded in a Grand Prix GTP towards the G8 and im member of a GP forum and I know how helpful the advice I received over there was.

    so ... where are in in South Burlington? In the past two years the only red passion metallic I've seen locally is when I get out and look at my GT ....

    Im close to the airport. My car is the only Sport Red G8 ive ever seen in person. I do post on ClubGp. I used to have an 03 Redfire Metallic GTP.

    I havent had a chance to take alot of pics. As you can see, the previous owner put clear sidemarkers on it, which I actually like. I also bought some black arrowhead overlays for the car, as I plan on tinting the windows black and Iw anted to go with a red, black and chrome look to the car.

    reality is, my G8 resides in the Jericho area and seldom gets past IBM when it's out My 2K GP is the DD/towncar that stays local (within jericho/essex/S Burl etc) as with 220Kmi, it won't wonder too far, and yes, it's redfire also. You may have seen it as it heads to Gutterson / Cairns area couple times a week ... has a large antenna on the trunk lid
