Im in the same boat, I have a set of HSV summer wheels that will clear cts brembos but I want to use either my 18" or 19" oem wheels (oem wheels all fit just need spacers & longer studs) for all-season winter option. $110 for only ten??? , minus the shipping what makes these stud so pricey? I've looked at using 1" spacer/studs, but don't know if it will look odd with a wider stance.

Good deal. Do you have a part number for them? If not, what year Silverado?

    Thanks,

I think ExplicitSaint said it took a lot of effort to get those Dorman studs in so I wonder if the published specs for the knurl size are correct for the Dorman pieces.

If the new studs are just a hair bigger you have to make sure the knurl knuckes that go into the hub are completly clean and lubed, another trick is to frezze the studs overnight so the metal could shrink just a bit to fit in. Also since it's such a tight fit behind the hub I'd use a C-clamp and a pipe after linning up the teeth press it in as far as can get it and then use several washers for friction resistance and tighten them down. The only problem that others have been having is removing the back studs. Shawn STL is having a difficult time getting them out.
