    After going to 2 G8 GTGs now and seeing 25 G8s at one and right at 30 last night, I think we can easily get 100 + together in one place.

    The good weather is coming for us Texans (or Texas residents ) and this should be easy to plan.

    I would say on a Sunday should make it the easiest for most of us. Have 2 dates set in advance incase of rain. Late October should give us plenty of time to make a plan.

    The big thing will be location. I know there are members in Victoria to North of Dallas. We need to find a semi-central location for everyone where there is possibly a public park so parking is not an issue.

    My guess is the minimum drive will be 2.5 hours for most, but for some it will be more.

    Since this is the end of Pontiac, I think it would be really cool to do this and this could make a few publications do to the amount of G8s in one place, making us all a part of history.

    Location....I guess we need to find out who is the farthest out in Texas. Looking at a map, it seems Waco is a possibility, but I will leave that up to all that are interested.

    Just post your ideas!

    The capital of Texas Austin! I dont know if we could do it at the actual capital but that would be cool. Austin seems like it would be a central location for dallas houston and san antonio people.

    Very true. It would be cool to have 100 G8s parked in front of the Capitol. What a pic that would be for Pontiac and magazines!

    San Antonio would be a great location, and rumor has it that there will be a Pedders day at Fuel Injection Specialties September 19th. Couple that with SA Raceway and it could be an eventful day.

    How about the last Sunday in November. Just after Thanksgiving, lots of folks with that weekend off.
    Yes for us larger guys that screw can be a pain!

    08 G8 GT, IOM, Rotofab, HSRK, Kooks LTs, track pipes, Custom engine covers, catch can, radiator cover, and tranny tunnel brace. 402hp/396tq - not bad for a bolt -on car.
