Formerly HSV-GTS-300
Rescued a couple signs that were destined for the scrap heap.
Hung them up on my wall tonight.

The body shop broken the trim from my seat. In any case they are going to fix it. They said that the seat has to come out and that a reprogram of my air bag may be needed. is this true? Pictures of damage. 20150221_002442.jpg2015-02-24 10-07-24_pontiac g8 driver seat trim - Google Search.png

You can order a whole new piece or you can purchase a new bracket kit for like 25 bucks.
I will find you the link

I finally ordered the last of the parts I need to get the engine back together. That is a good thing since I am tired of throwing money at it. Refreshing a lot of parts that I have reused in the past. I keep telling myself do it right and only once. The while I am at its did not help either! Hopefully that is the case. I am sure there is some cheap ass little part that I will end up missing that I will want to overnight at great expense just to get it running. LOL.

OCD DIYer
Didn't get quite as far as I wanted to tonight. Wanted to get the car fully reassembled, but as it is the driveshaft is still dangling.
What was left:
- Install new driveshaft-to-diff coupler. (My old one was melted by the heat of the exhaust.)
- Re-install exhaust mid-pipes
- Wrap exhaust mid-pipes with exhaust wrap to protect new coupler from heat of exhaust
- Reinstall mufflers
- Install new end links
What did I get done?
- Install new end links
Blargh. Posted a question about the coupler I'd bought, a Camaro part, here on the board.
