Do you know that this car is not aimed towards our G8s. It's not meant to be a track scorcher. It's a more powerful Taurus and the engine is held back mainly by it's FWD transmission. This engine can easily get 400 hp on a RWD platform....like the Mustang. Then all you idiots won't be so quick to bash Ford when said Mustang will demolish us with a tune...

The turbos are small but that does not mean they have nothing left in them.

people are comparing them like edmonds because they are both powerful 4dr sedans. A two door mustang doesn't do a lot of us any good.

It's the fact that it keeps getting compared to our car and in all fairness to both, they are very different.

The Taurus has a MUCH better interior than us but has less performance yet a nice a steady power and probably a much smoother ride. Hell, google or youtube the new Taurus paint durability and then remember how shittastic our paint is. It has the nice comforts that most luxury brand cars have and our cars just don't. It's aimed at Audi buyers IMO. Not RWD V8 Muscle sedan buyers.

It's also people that think just because it has small turbos that it can't do much like they know...

Ford comes out with a great car, and people bash it cause it's slower than ours. Cause I guess edmunds said it was ok to compare it to ours as a RWD V8 sports sedan. I believe edmunds were the people who thought a EVO X MR was a comparison to the G8 GXP...

And, in a similar comparison, they compared the large sedan SHO to the mid size G37 and said the G37 was a better car cause it was faster...

I'm mainly pissed at them. No hard feelings...just the internet.

I understand that, those guys just need something to write. They always pick on the mustang. Compare it to the new Camaro and Challenger. Mustang is still the best bang for your buck IMO.
