Picked up some heads this morning. Then worked on 2 G8's today. 1 is really shiny and 1 is a little louder. Thanks Ray

Logged the car for a tune adjustment. Washed and detailed the interior and wheels. Took some new pics.

Travis was kind enough to come over and help finish the paint detail on my G8. We added a coat of Adam's glaze, then a coat of Americana.
Put stock mufflers back on my G8, and Super 44's to his.
Picked up the turbo manifolds and started the mock up of the turbo on my engine stand. I'll start a new thread for that soon.
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

Ordered a helicoil thread repair kit to fix the gored threads on my CTS-V caliper. Hope to get it done this week in time to take the car on a quick road-trip next weekend, since I don't trust the bolt to stay in the caliper with it only holding about 30 lb-ft of torque. Why take the G8 and not the beater? I'll be caravaning with my parents to a relative's house, and my dad's got a heavy right foot. Don't think my beater could keep up! Well, that, and I-40 through the Appalachians is fun!

I am astounded you fit those behind the stock GT 19's! Though the 6-piston calipers require the same wheel-spoke clearance as the 4-pistons, so...
