I was unaware of the one in French Lick. French Lick is a neat little town. The West Baden hotel, casino, and a golf course that will kick your ass. Home of Larry Bird as well.

which brand did you get ?
I got the ARH. They are the only one that makes a 2" primary for the Chevy SS that I am aware of. Fitment has the following two issues: The dipstick took some custom bending to get into place. Currently the steering shaft is rubbing on tight turns, not when going straight. I only discovered this after driving it home. I need to see if I can get a pry bar in to make a little room. If that does not work I can pull the one header back off an dent the one primary tube slightly. I also needed another O2 extension harness on the passenger side. Compared to my previous Kooks headers the headers are longer, sit slightly higher, and the outlets are spaced a little wider. I have a Solo 3" catback that was their version for Kooks headers. They modify the regular 3" catback by welding on a couple pipes at an angle. Luckily it turns out that if those sections are cut off the remaining pipe lines up nearly perfectly with the ARH outlet. We just needed to weld on a couple 5 1/2 pieces of 3" stainless. Those pieces were bumped up at the end to slip over the headers and then clamped with a clamp.

    Rotohack 102 intake - 102 MAF - TPIS 102 TB - TVS1900 ported & plated w 8 rib 2.5" front + OD rear
PnP Interchiller - RCR ported heads - RCR Lunati 219/231 113+1 - Forged Bottom End
    ARH 2" LT headers - Solo 3" CB - MT DRs + M&H FRs on Weld RT-S
    CTS-V fuel w Vaporworx - FAST 85s - Alkycontrol meth M15 + M10 - RCR tune
    9.75@139.2 ? rwhp ? rwtq

Brought the G8 home from Milwaukee. I didn't get to drag race, one of the drag radials didn't hold air.
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

Prying the header made the noise go away turning one direction, but not the other. I attempted to give the primary a good whack through the wheel well, but could not get a good swing. If it was on a lift with a helper to hold a long socket extension that probably would have worked. I ended up pulling the header off and with a couple well placed whacks with a ball peen the job was done. It did not take much, and the noise is gone to my relief.

I cleaned the G8 up from my trip to Myrtle Beach this week and also rotated the tires from side to side.
    Car performed great! 22.5mpg!
I drove it down for the Mustang Week event this week. I work for Fastlane Motorsports and we had our trailer and booth setup there.
I got a lot of looks when I pulled up in my G8. LOL!
Interestingly enough, I spotted 3 different G8's there from Black to Blue to Silver.

Here's mine right in the middle of mustang fest. LOL.

finally got it back from them screwing up the airbag recall , no eta on the seat belt recall parts yet

car is home safe , now to fix both door window regs

the bad , might trade it away for a cruze , since i cant get a SS

the good they replaced the passenger presence module and almost weeks of rental car cover by GM , not a cent outta my pocket
