Thanks. Mongo be aware there is a stop sale on the SS now.

. But the deal supposedly was extended till 8/1, SS included so if they lift the stop sale you can still nab one.

GM put a recall on the SS for the seat belts , like the one for our G8's , i was in the middle of trading my G8 in since the dealer has had it for 3 1/2 weeks from a botched airbag recall

once the made the recall for the SS , all sales of the SS are stopped , which means i no longer get the 20% off

Theres gotta be a way to get that grandfathered in or something. Such bullshit.

3 1/2 weeks for a recall repair with no end in sight... I'm talking to a lawyer.

I agree again!

Something is not right there.. usually a lemon law would be considered after 3 weeks and several attempts. This is complete bullshit unless your dealer is so incompetent they have a bunch of monkeys screwing footballs in the service dept.

I would take this up with GM Customer Service ..maybe get some insight through the GM rep on this forum.

There has to be parts available to complete the recall. Not subject to lemon law.

I got a letter today saying the seat belt parts ARE available and to make an appointment to get replaced.
