For shits and giggles I brought it to a dealer to get a quote on trade in worth (19k) is the best they can do if I wanted to trade her in (Which is pretty good IMO) ..I went home washed it and put it away for the winter.

Took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and detailed the IOM. Then afterwards I started both up back to back and stood in the middle and listened to my version of the sound of music.

Pulled apart my dash so I could pull out the gauge to RMA it. Sure is easier the second time. Hopefully they turn it around quick so I do not need to have my car tore apart for too long.

Got to wring the G8 out on a curvy road that snakes through the hills here for about 5 miles with no one else around. There wasn't any sections of straight road more than 200 ft long and there were sections with swells (like in the ocean) that really showed the PPVs keeping things buttoned down (the left/right corkscrews too). The Michelin AS3s carved through curves marked 20 and 30 at 40 and 50.

I was thinking that with the lateral grip of the AS3s that I would need more roll stiffness (springs and sway bars are stock FE2). But after this run, the suspension is set! I was thinking rear cradle inserts but maybe not.

The cradle inserts really help a lot IMO. Sway bars made a HUGE difference for me as well. Replacing the metal bits isn't as necessary as replacing the rubber bushings inside them with poly. Pedders was able to pull 1G with stock suspension parts, with their poly in them, so IMO, spending too much on beefed up components isn't as necessary as other things unless you're going for the bling factor. The bling factor is also heavier...

The fact of the matter is, if you're happy where your car is, leave it alone!
