I found out why there aren't any BP's out here...because BP owns ARCO? WTH?

What I can't find out is if it is actually BP gas with BP additives.

BP owns a lot of fuel companies. Aren't they one of the biggest refiners, too?

So your LTFTs changed and stayed changed for the entire tank? The reason I ask is because right after a fillup the EVAP system sometimes operates. Based on my experience with my GTP, it has the potential to vent fuel vapor into the throttlebody and cause negative fuel trims, even if it's the same fuel as before. It generally stabilizes after about 15 minutes or so, but it can have a significant effect in the short term.

Ok so I emailed BP and asked them if ARCO's gas was the same as BP's they emailed me and told me to call a gasoline technician. So I called the number and got this really nice guy who explained what they are doing.

The ARCO gas and additive is BP product however, there is not as much additive in the ARCO and it is not the Invigorate additive that is used east of the Rockies. Not sure why Invigorate is only used east of the Rockies, but apparently it is.

So I just point blank asked if ARCO gas was as good as BPs and he hemmed a little and just said that there isn't as much additive. So I take that as a no, but I'd have no problem running it in my Suburban.
