Default Towing my trailer with the G8..Mileage!

So I just got back from Homestead/Miami speedway from track day and I averaged 24.5 to 27mpg towing the 1800lbs trailer!! I will post a few pictures in the up coming days and a few videos when I figure out the camera!!

As for the car with the BF Goodrich R1 slicks I am happy to say that I passed a Dodge Viper and a Porsche Carrera 4s!! It was a blast.

sounds like you had a blast again, did you ever have additional coolers installed, and how did they work out?

Yeah I have had the oil cooler and the transmission cooler installed I did watch my temps they never surpassed 250 each. Lets just say this last time I had to stop at or around 12 -15 minutes and this time I did the full 30 minutes.

I can't imagine towing a trailer with my car. I'd sooner get a trailer to tow it around!

I used to pull a motorcycle trailer behind my 30th Anniversary Trans Am. We went down to Panama Beach one year taking my car and 2 sport bikes. We installed the trailer hitch in the parking lot of our apartment complex at 3AM the night before we left for spring break. All that cutting/drilling/banging woke up nearly everyone that lived there. If a trailer hitch on a Trans Am doesn't say redneck, I don't know what does!

    Oh, I've got another story...
My college roommate put a trailer hitch on his PURPLE Chevy Cavalier. He pulled the bikes behind his car and took them to Deal's Gap, and he said at one point he had his gas pedal floored and the car would hardly go up the mountain road.
Then, he used to pull this big ass boat behind the Cavalier so we could take it to the lake. Once, we weren't able to pull the boat up the boat ramp, so we had to borrow someone's truck!
