I've met the guy here @ our local races that owns the car. Definitely a stout combo! That's a Pat G cam, whom is the same guy that spec'd my new cam for the new motor going into my TA, but mine's a bit bigger. If I could ever convince the wifey, a custom Pat G would surely be going in the G8.

any idea what kind of lobes it was ground on?

I definitely would recommend that. He'll most likely call you shortly after and discuss your plans for the car, useage, and what type of performance you're looking for. Very in depth, and knowledgeable dude.
That's usually up to you, mine was ground using LSL lobes. He normally uses Geoff @ Engine Power Systems for the ordering, and he has a proprietary lobe that has been throwing out some amazing power. It would probably be safe to say he would recommend you go with either, but he may recommend LSK or XER lobes (although he doesn't prefer them, and titles them as "outdated"), it depends on the setup and how you want it to perform mainly.
