I think you take the case apart, shove a towel inside to press the cpu back down on the mobo and it will work for a while. (at least until something else overheats or the towel just catches fire...)Originally Posted by G8GT721

Mine did the exact same thing. I thought it was my sending unit that I had just replaced, which upon replacement, fixed all the issues. Turned out to be a wierd coincidence. Bye bye bearings!

Yup, that's exactly what I did. Wrapped three around it for about 25 min, then removed everything and let it cool down for another 20 min. Been good ever since.actually i think you wrap it up in a towel and let it run for a few hours to git hot.
