Default Going to get it Friday 6/19 - ** Ticketed on the way!!

I located the car I wanted. Could not find it locally (Baton Rouge) so I am having to go pick up in Houston. It is Panther Black, Premium Pkg, Sport Package, Bluetooth, and Sunroof. Enjoy the board, lots of good information.

Anything special I should do driving it back from Houston? It is about 250 or so miles.

    Thanks

Welcome, and Congrats! General rule of thumb for break-in, is to break it in the way you are going to drive it.

    Congrats on your upcoming purchase.

Varying speeds and avoiding constant Interstate speeds is a good idea. There are almost as many opinions about break-in and 1st oil change. I recommend 1st oil change in the 500 to 1000 mile range.

With the traffic between Houston & B.R, varying your speed will not be a problem. Bet you spend a lot of time in the right lane zooming around the asshats that clog the left lane.

Did you check N.O. area? Except for the Striker blue GT I had my eye on at Rainbow in Covington, I do not think any have sold in this area since I got mine almost 6 weeks ago.
