I have that ratty looking 09 cable in front of my scoop too, I think its actually pushing down on my scoop.

Going to try charlies route again even I couldn't do it initially.

So on your 09 did undo all of that tape? I was going to cut off all of the clips on it as well but worried I might need them in the future...

Is it pointless for me to install the Vararam without loading a tune?

It seems there is mixed information in that regard.

Two more pics to go with Rays for those who are dense like me.
These are for the Radiator support removal after you pop out the lock tab

Oh and if you misplace your camera...Open the hood you may of left it
on the intake manifold like it did.

I never did see a comparison of the roto-fab vs the vararam in this thread. I'm considering both at the moment...anyone who has switched share to give a review?

The track was rained out for several weeks and never had the time to do a comparison before I sold it to a forum member.

Got my VR in last night but have a few questions.

    1) On your pics, there is a gap between the center tab on the car and the indention on the front of the VR. I was able to get mine to rest in the indention, but as a result, I had adjust the hoses between the MAF and throttle body. Which way is normal? Should I leave it as is or tilt the VR back towards the throttle body?

    2) My lower scoop (the part that rests on the radiator) is a little flexible. Should it be or should it be tight?

    3) I dont have the looming on the wires in the front of the radiator, should I still run it above the scoop or let it hang below?

    TIA!

The tab and indentation don't have to line up. That's just a manufacturers tolerance for tighter cars.
The wire choice is yours. We've found out that not everyone's wire loom is the same. Mine is now underneath. I need to update my pics. I've been lazy.
