    Cool Replacing Headlight Assembly

I did a search, and read content. Also watched about an hour of YouTube vids.

I want to replace my 2008 G8 GT headlight assemblies with NEW ones. Something that has a nice new clear face.

Rumor has it, you MUST remove the front bumper. Ok, ugh, but it doesn't seem so bad really. Worth it I think.

Any recommendations on new assemblies? I'd like something cool, but not obnoxious.

Also, any tips for the swap are much appreciated.

    Thanks!

When I did mine, I had to remove the bumper cover. There are a couple bolts on the bottom/front. Can you get to them from underneath?

The aftermarket ones with the LED stuff leak. Spyders leak or the LEDs fail. Ebay ones - leak.

I wouldn't replace them for anything other than stock. My $.02

I put in TYC brand stock style replacements and they have been good. But I know at least 1 other that used the same ones and had condensation issues, so it can be a crapshoot.
