Thanks for all you’ve done Ray! I miss the heyday for sure. Still have my GXP and plan to keep it for now. Maybe the new Vette will change my mind...

REST IN PEACE CHARLIE......you left us too fast.......Nov. 14, 2013
Just hopped on to see this. Thank you for everything you have done for this community, even letting me get a batch of gauge faces made for members on here. I still have Charlies coin in my G8 as well.

It still pops up as one of three tabs when I open the internet, but damnit if I don't just click right past. Oh well, the inevitable change that time brings won't stop for our group.
Ray you're a special guy, tough to read, to be sure, but invaluable to this ever-smaller group. I think I've relayed this before... I don't remember why -specifically - I had your number, but I remember calling you the day your G8 caught on fire. I seriously thought your post was a joke, or it wasn't serious. All you kept asking me was "why are you calling me right now?" I was blown away because I didn't realize how serious the situation was. Thinking back, if mine caught fire, I'd have a tough time sorting my thoughts out, especially if someone I never met before called me shortly after it happened, thinking it was a joke!
Every once in a while, I'll look at Charlie's coin and it does kind of give me a sense of calm in that moment. I didn't know him, other than his contributions here and his offer of help, but every time I drive mine I see that coin and think of him. With time, years passing by, that coin reminds me of this family... of some we lost, and the ones that remain.
Thanks for all you've done, we've been lucky to have you around and part of this.
