    Default 3.90's?

Is anyone running 3.90's in their G8? I installed some in my buddies Caprice and it really woke it up. We had a rod let go before we were able to take it to the track. Now were going built 6.0 with a LSA, I will be installing a camaro LSD with 3.27 gears. Im thinking of putting the carrier with 3.90's in my cam, stall G8 and running some 28" slicks. But im thinking it might be too much gear. Any input is appreciated.

3.91s are gonna be too much unless you just want an 1/8 mile car. They're better suited in the stick shifts like mine (our factory is 3.70). I'd go with 3.45 in yours.

GPI has had much success with 3.91 gears in NA auto 5th gens. If you are trapping 130mph or less with an NA cammed car you are fine as you'll cross the line still in 4th gear.
