Default 2009.5 Liquid Red G8 GT with 59k miles!

    Hi all,

Helping a buddy selling his Liquid Red 2009.5 G8 GT. He is the second owner of the car, having bought it back in October of 2011 with just 7,200 miles. The car currently has 59k miles, and recently passed a NY state inspection with flying colors. He holds the clean NY title in-hands, and there are no liens on the car. All inspection monitors show up as passed, and the car has no check engine or warning lights. My buddy reports that it's never thrown a check engine light during his ownership, and has only been to the dealership for a new A/C belt & tensioner (which was covered under warranty at the time).

For those who don't know 2009.5 cars have many perks versus 2009 and under cars, most notable IMO being the addition of bluetooth! You can click here for a full list of changed for the 2009.5 cars. Asking $16,500 OBO!

We just performed a bunch of preventative maintenance and fixed some small common issues getting it ready for the sale which I have listed below (All receipts available):

    - Serpentine belt, idler pulley, and tensioner pulley, along with A/C Belt and A/C belt tensioner w/ pulley (Gates). (Had a slight belt chirp on cold start, so we replaced the entire belt system (All pulleys, belts, and tensioners).
    - Gas Cap (ACDelco). Car would periodically say "Check Gas Cap". Message never came back after replacing the gas cap.
    - Front wiper blades (ACDelco).
    - Trunk liner clips (GM). These are notorious to fall out on G8's, so we replaced all of them.
    - Front Struts & Strut mounts (ACDelco struts, Monroe strut mounts).
    - Front tension arm bushings (Pedders). These bushings are common to go. While his originals didn't look too bad, we decided to upgrade these since we were already giving the front end a refresh. The pedders are polyurethane and should last the life of the car.
    - Front swaybar endlinks (MOOG).
    - 4-wheel alignment. We took the car for an alignment after the front end refresh.
    - Left and Right windshield moldings/trim (GM). These are common to dryrot and crack on G8's hence why we replaced them.
    - 4x TPMS sensors (ACDelco). Two sensors weren't reading due to dead batteries, so we replaced them all with the latest available units.
    - Passenger side horn (GM). While going over the car, we noticed the horn note sounded off. The passenger side wasn't working, so we replaced it and it works perfectly now.
    - Front & Rear brake pads (Hawk HPS). Brake pads looked low, so we installed a new set all around.
    - Brake fluid flush (Pentosin DOT 4). Decided to flush the fluid while servicing all the brakes.

In terms of modications, this car have very minimal. It has never been tuned, and has never had any more mods than what is listed below:
    - Vararam intake. Stock intake comes with the car.
    - Custom exhaust. (Muffler and resonator delete, awesome deep note). The stock exhaust systems also comes with the car.
    - Trunklid is debadged.
    - DBA 4000 series rotors. These are a premium rotor, and are only on their second set of brake pads. Read about them here.
    - Hawk HPS brake pads.
    - GT badge on rear sideskirts.
    - Front grills and hoodscoops plasti-dlipped black.

The car does have some damage on the passenger side rear quarter panel, right at the wheel arch near the rear passenger door. It also has a small vertical spot on the rear bumper, towards the passenger side. The damage is seen in the pictures below, but I will upload close-ups of it with the interior shots as soon as possible.
