    Default Rotofab to VCM OTR??

Did some research, and I can still get the old style coupler to put a VCM in front of my Maggie.
Iíve run the Rotofab since day one, and not unhappy with it, just wonder if the change is worth it?

As an upgrade I don't think so. If starting from scratch, yes.

Maybe better money spent getting 4" upgrade for rotofab tube.

If you have a Maggie and go to the VCM, you have to go to a LS-7card.

The change will only be for looks! The 4Ē upgrade is worth it.

I'm starting from scratch looking for a CAI for my setup and was leaning towards VCM. It looks like I may still be able to get VCM's Maggie adapter, but may have to do a little fab work to keep the adapter from collapsing under vacuum. Now I'm considering roto-fab. I have a bone stock car with a TVS2300 kit from Magnuson that I recently installed and I'm planning my next set of upgrades.

What did you end up deciding to do?

    Still undecided.
Didn’t drive the car much this year. Thought for, sure I’d hit the 20,000 mile mark....
Won’t have have car out until April, so I’ll revisit it then.
Prices are really good right now though, and that might factor into the decision.

The adapter has a metal frame work inside to NOT let it collapse.

Seems as the LS7 MAF is hard to tune in that adapter, sometimes seems like an on/off switch.
BUT it does look really NICE

From what I'm hearing, they've stopped including the metal framework with the adapters. They aren't being stocked here in the US anymore because of that and that's why the adapters are hard to find. VCM did get a hold of me and told me they could get me the adapter, minus the frame, and quoted me a nice price. They were really responsive. The problem now is the tuning. My tuner is saying the best bet for a tune with that setup is going to be speed density and he doesn't recommend a speed density tune for my application: daily all season driver in Minnesota.

I really wanted to make this CAI work for my car, but the way I use the car may make it a non-starter. if it were a sunny day driver / track car I'd probably go for it.
