    Default 2013 ATS-V brakes

I know I've seen a post somewhere about swapping to ATS-V front calipers but I can't seem to find it. Anyone no if they are a true direct replacement? I've done some research and the rotors are the same diameter and thickness on both cars just not sure about the caliper bolt holes lining up.

tchr49, for the CTS-V, the proper set up is CTS-V gen1 / GXP 4 pots, and GXP Rotor for the front correct?

For the rear, is was CTS-V Gen 1 calipers and Gen 5 Rotors?

Just pricing it out now. Got 19x8.5 rims with 45 offset so should not have an issue wit the clearance, but wanted to be sure on the brake parts, if you know. Have not found it searching the forum unless I totally missed it

2015-2017 (not 2014) Chevy SS rear rotors. 5th generation Camaro rear rotors require the use of a custom bracket to mount the caliper.

You can also use CTS-V 2nd generation rear calipers or 5th generation Camaro rear calipers. Both of these calipers have the notch in the caliper mounting points to clear the 2015-2017 Chevy SS rear dust shield (if you planned on using it).

GXP or Gen 1 V front bolts on directly without drilling the knuckle. Gen 5 front rotor is the same as the GXP. Cheap too

Go SS sedan rear shields and rotors - or trim the current shield [much easier]. Rear rotors are cheap as are the shields.

Rear calipers are the same style between V/SS sedan/Gen 5 - some require a flip of the bleeder/tube due to mounting position differences [I don't recall off hand]

You can use PPV rotors with the calipers you mentioned. They will fit under the stock wheels. You need to drill out the knuckle for the larger caliper mount bolts.

The CTSV brakes would be a better upgrade but you need spaces with the stock wheels or different wheels to clear them, just keep that in mind.
