Custom Exhaust Question

Looks like some people here don't do fab work. It all depends on the quality of the work. I built a full system out of 3", 304 SS, all TIG welded, and tucked up nice and tight. I would not even think of doing anyone else's car for $1200 because it's a huge pain in the ass to do it right and the raw materials are not cheap. Depending on the materials and the qualitly of the work, $1200-1500 is not ridiculous. You really need to give more details about what they quoted you.

There is about 20 people who are active on the forum. To find one of them who can tig stainless and has a mandrel bender. I would say, most of them don't do fab work.

Have you thought about buying an exhaust system designed for the car and having an exhaust shop adapt it to your headers? I'm not sure if that will be cheaper or not, but it is another option you can look into.
