Default THoughts on 2015 6.2L Sierra 1500 Denali

So, been looking at trucks recently, and a 2015 6.2L Sierra Denali is online that isn't too far from where I live.

Anyone have experience with these trucks? Only thing that I will miss is that the '15 models don't have Apple CarPlay. I was exclusively looking at '16 model year only Chevys and GMCs because of that. But to be able to get a Denali I think I can forgo Apple CarPlay.

The 6.2L '15s have the 8L90E right? Good trans on that truck?

It's a great transmission but they had sift issues at first. Only a tune was needed but gm didn't wanna believe that and obviously a trans tune would void the warranty.

I dunno the price difference now but when I looked at new trucks the duramax Ltz was only $4k more then the 6.2. Much better truck.

Yeah, trying to keep it under $40k. 2500 duramax crew cabs get pricey

I hear ya. The 1500 6.2 is a great truck. Best half ton for sure.

Not that it is a big issue, but the headlights on the 2014 and 2015's are unacceptable. I own a '14 Sierra, my brother a '15. I did an HID upgrade from TheRetrofitSource.com on both. Hands down, the best "mod" money I have ever spent on a vehicle. Good luck with your purchase.
