Do Chevy SS floor mats fit the G8???

It's possible that the floor mats for 2011-2013 Chevy Caprice are an exact fit for the G8.

That's what I was thinking also. From everything that I've found the Caprice and the G8 have the same dimensions from the B pillar forward. Would be nice to know if they fit for sure before throwing down that much money for mats. Might be my only option though.

That seems to be my problem. I can't find a definite answer on whether or not they'll fit. I found one post on the SS forum from a member using his old G8 weather tech mats in his new SS and he said that the back mats fit perfect, but the front mounting points were a little off. I was hoping to get a couple more people to confirm if they fit or not before I drop $100+ on new mats.

I'm down in TX so the weather is pretty mild down here. I don't really need weather tech mats as my interior doesn't really get that dirty. I'm just tired of having to clean up these little pieces of material off the back of the mat that keep falling off.

I think the caprice has a longer mat.
