Thread: AC Compressor and Expansion valve - how much should it cost? Is $2100 reasonable?

    you have to take the whole tube off? figured you could just pull the tube at the top and replace the seals.

    Is it a PITA to do.

    I'm going to start with gaging the pressure and potentially doing a recharge as I think that is all it should need.

    It's easier than disassebling the dash for a blend door replacement ;-)

    I bet you could disconnect and move to the side. But of course they do not want their techs doing that and bending the line so they say to take it off.
