Default Adding RotoFab High Flow intake to Magnacharger 2300

If you're looking at doing the RotoFab high flow intake to the Magnacharger 2300 system, I ordered a couple things that greatly helped me out.

First off, HPS makes a 4" to 4 1/2" ID coupler that is 4" long. This piece will go on the filter horn. It allows the elbow to be reversed, but also angled enough to clear the hood with plenty of coupler material to clamp. The supplied coupler is 2 3/8" long and will not give enough material to clamp.

    HPS Part Number HTSR-400-425-L4-BLK

From Throttle Body: RF supplied 4-4 1/4 straight coupler, RF Tube (reversed - evap nipple facing front of engine bay), RF supplied 4 1/4-4 hump coupler, 4" MAF tube, HPS 4-4 1/4 coupler, RF Filter connection @ box.

Also, Magnuson spaces out the PS reservoir to clear the throttle body and other bits with two aluminum spacers, 1 1/2" long each. Replace those spacers with 1" spacers/standoffs (3/8" ID) and get shorter m10x1.5 bolts ( I got mine at ACE hardware... they had the spacers in steel, and grade 10.9 bolts). Get bolts that are 1/2" shorter than stock (look for about 1.75" max) so you don't thread too far into the head.

Lastly, If youre plugging the EVAP hole in the Rotofab tube, the thread is 1/4" NPT. I bought a 1/4" NPT plug in brass that had an indented 1/4 allen bit drive hole and cut off two threads from the bit side (the side you'll see after insertion). Sand it or file it smooth where you cut, and then put some LOCTITE thread sealant on it and gently (you have less allen bit surface now) thread it in and tighten it. I followed it up with a flat black rustoleum brushed-on coat to make it blend after wiping it with alcohol. Cutting the two threads off made it so it sits flush. My wife said I'm ridiculous.

They're a stainless tbolt clamp I found on amazon. They won't pop like work gear, or deform the tube near the gear like a work gear would. :-)
