No Start
Went out for a nice ride today to get the remaining gas out of her. Ran like a champ.
Came home, and a few hours later, got in to go out again and nothing. Got a "brake" and the. "Abs fault" on the DIC.
Disconnected the battery for a while and still nothing.
Had this happen once before, got a bunch of warnings, airbag, etc after the car started, but I shut it off and it started back up and all was fine.
My aftermarket gauges power up, etc, but no turn over.
Any ideas?

Could be a power or ground connection, battery going out, starter, alternator, engine immobilizer etc. Make sure the shifter is fully in park, Is the starter not cranking at all? Can also be the starter relay

Battery shows 12.3 as it sits. No shifter problems play, this thing only has 18k miles.
Thanks for the reply

If it only happens when the engine is hot(after driving) and hasn't happened cold starting in the morning it could be a sign of the starter on its way out. Does the starter crank over at all when this happens, do you hear the relay click? Also check voltage while cranking, should stay above 10-10.5v

It's a can bus issue. My tuner stopped by and can't get the car to talk. It's pissed off big time.
Have to go back and check connections when I hard wired the Speedhuts in. I think the problem lies there.
Wish me luck........

That's no fun.
I'd make sure all the contacts at the fuse / relay blocks are proper as well

Talked with the people at Speedhut. I was able to cut power to the gauges(they didn't cycle when I turned the key on).
They said that if the gauges weren't powered, they wouldn't interfere with the can bus/OBD, and the gauges could be ruled out. Short of cutting the lead from the OBD to the gauges, I don't know of any other way of ruling them out and that's pretty drastic.
The connections I made when I hard wired into the can bus wires on the OBD port still look good.
I'm still getting nothing on the key, ABS still lights up the DIC, red X, and even with a cheap hand scanner I get "link error"
Could loose ECU connectors cause this?
