Default To get 20 % off on the SS do you have to take delivery by the 8th?

There is a special on the SS. 20 percent off. It expires at the end of the 8th. What if you sign a contract before then; but the car is on the high seas? Do you actually have to take possession? The dealer I am working with does not know. He will find out tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone knows the rules.

Chevy website says one must take delivery by 7/8/16 to get the 20% offer on an SS. Several dealers are advertising 25-30% off 2016 SS, so check online.

thanks Leon. They located in AZ so it should be here by the 8th. He is giving me a whopping extra $500 off the 20 percent and a free window tint. So about an extra $800 in value. My credit is not stellar and he got me 2.99% over 60 months with 5K down. It is a fully loaded black one with the sunroof and full spare and automatic for my wife to be able to drive once in a while. I promise to keep this stock as my G8 is my fun car. My wife sais we will see! The good thing is the ones I see in the dealership have been there for ever with multiple scratches. They promise to repaint. But this one is fresh off the boat hopefully with no damage.

Congrats! Did you get more than 20 percent off? When I finalize tomorrow I am going to squeeze another 500 out of the deal. Why not? I have to drive two hours to the north to pick it up and two hours back. That is my fee for the driving.

Didn't haggle beyond getting them to give me 2k more for my Vagon. Gave me a good rate already judging by what USAA quoted me (3.74%... Really??)

Vagon was nice while I had it, and I might miss the power, but I already missed the interior space of the G8 more.
