    Default In dash GPS?

    Paul,
Any chance you would be able to track down the parts to accomplish this installation? Appearently they are part of the Holden Omega.

Sounds like the piece with the dials for the vents is a custom piece.

If you could put a kit together with these parts, I'm sure you would sell a TON of them!

I'll happily track down whatever Holden parts anybody wants.

I don't have access to a G8 to pull apart for R&D, so somebody else will have to figure out the patch harness, GPS bracket, and where to run the hacksaw thru the Right Hand Drive vent dial joiner strip.

I saw the post on the one of my infrequent visits to the "other" board as well and would be very interested. The guy was very vauge in what parts he needed but it looks GRRRR8. I'd like to avoid using a "hacksaw" on my car though.

Obviously its one of the new Omega pieces that need trimming. No need to butcher your car.

Dede did it on the other board. I'm guessing that it might be difficult getting info from him since he deals alot with JHP. I'm sure they don't want to give info to any competitors.

JHP will not sell custom bracket separately, or the PnP harness separately from the kit...
    9-10 parts in the kit

I remember reading that Dede actually works for JHP.

Also, in my experience, Dede is not very helpful at all. He will post all this cool stuff, then not answer any follow up questions you might have.
