Need help just had my engine rebuilt put it in tried to start it and got nothing the dash has a red x on it it says contact dealer and stability controll is off so i checked grounds they are good jumped relay on starter and starter is working i am at a loss someone please help

Same thing happened after I rebuilt the engine in my buddy's g8. Ended up being the think ground cable from the front passenger side of the engine to the chassis. So make sure thats hooked up!
Most miss the ground on the back of the drivers side head
