Hey all, two years ago I picked up a sweet () 95 F150 with the 302 MAF Roller Engine.

The truck is as reliable as they come, and I really enjoy using it as my daily. I'd like some more grunt, however, and I'm staring down into the rabbit hole. I have searched and searched on this, and have found some conflicting information around the web.

Before I go and register on Corral and F150 forums, I thought I'd pick the brains of the crew here.

Right now, I've got simple plans... but also a few questions...

1) 1.72 rockers
2) Gt40 heads (95-early 97 explorer)
3) Explorer Intake
4) Long tube headers / cat delete

Questions are:
1) No questions with Rockers, I wanna help this sucker BREATHE.
2) Are the GT40 heads a plug and play swap - including EGR / thermactor ports?
3) I know the Explorer intake keeps some of the low end torque that the cobra intake gives up, but is it substantially better than my dual tb truck setup - is this a "just swap the lower/upper" scenario?
4) I've got a basic OBD1 scanner, am I going to have either EGR issues or CELs based on cats using a set of long tubes?

Thanks in advance!
