Default Front License Plate Mounting Options

It's time that I put a front plate on. Anyone have some new or interesting ways to do it? I want it to remain clean looking and not drill hole in the bumper if possible, but don't think I want a retractable one. Suggestions?

Duct Tape? Liquid Nails? C-Clamps? Velcro? Magic?
No screws, no retractable, which requires screws, not sure what you could use.

I ordered and received one of these. I know you said you didn't want a retractable, but it truly is one of the best ways and can be hidden when it's unneeded.

Something like this may work though you may need to "massage" the lower grill a bit..

I was thinking you could bolt it up under the edge of the lower grill and just notch out the area on the grill where it needs to pass through.

I wouldn't mind drilling from the underside of the bumper just as long as I don't have hole in the front taking away from the looks.

Thats but I guess my point is that it would never be unneeded so why bother?

I must be a little slow this morning but I am having a hard time picturing how that would actually mount up. I saw someone else with some "L" brackets that mounted behind, and then through, the lower grills and relocated the plate to either side of the bumper. Waiting on more specific information from him.

Honestly not sure if it would work, just throwing ideas out there.

Check the other forum, there is a thread where someone fabricated brackets like you're describing.

I go to a lot of car shows and cruise in's so it'll get well used on my car. It mounts under the car so why reinvent the wheel?

I bought a cheap plastic frame back plate and a small back plate for spacing. Bolted them together with the small one on the bottom behind it and used foam tape to protect the paint. Mounted it with zip ties to the grill.
