20 x 10 +40 Who's got that?
I'm in the market for 20x10 wheels. The fenders are rolled. I'm being told +45 will clear, but I saw a post of someone saying they have +40 with rolled fenders, but he didn't mention tire section width. I wanna see +40 and +45 someone's G8 in person. I'm in Houston.

I have 9.5's with +30, I do get a bit of rubbing, but nothing crazy. I'd have to convert the difference in mm and inches to compare to yours, and that's to much math this early on Saturday.

OK, thanks google:
30mm= 1.181 inches
40mm= 1.574"
45mm= 1.771"
Looks like if you can get the 10" rim in +45 you'll be better off than me, because you'll be making up more than the 1/4" that you gain in width (half of the 1/2" gain). Even the 40mm appears to be slightly better, I wouldn't hesitate on either, after running mine, but I'd prefer the +45.

There's a store than has a set of staggered wheels I really like for cheap, 20x8.5+35 (which I would put 245/30s on) and 20x10+40 (which I would put 295/30s on). I'm thinking +40 is way too close with a 295 [which will actually measure quite narrower than that). Even +45 spooks me with that tire.

I ran 285's on my 9.5 +30

Let me try to dig some up. I rolled my own fenders. I think if I do the bracket mod I'd be rubbing even less.
