I picked up v wheels this weekend and after mounting them I noticed they stuck out more then I thought. They would. After looking at the stamping I noticed they were coupe wheel. I kicked myself in the ass BC I didn't look when I picked them up.
But really they fit fine on stock height. I'm going lower so I need to find sedan wheels. But someone who wants to keep stock height can get away with rolling and they would be fine. They rubbed with about 300lbs in the back seat over bumps and dips. but rolling would take care of that.
They fit better then I thought they would.
I might keep them BC I have the camaro knuckles and I'm building my own rear control arms.
The camaro axles are shorter so if I move them in about 15mm they would fit.like 10+55 and be good for a 305 after rolling and the inner mods. Just not sure yet.

Take a look at an Opulent Blue CTS-V with black wheels. Looks pretty good...

If you had the back pad milled some, say 5mm max, do you think that would be enough?

5mm wouldn't make much difference. The back pad is super thick and you could mill il up to 15mm I think. I just didn't want to do it.
You deff need to roll as much as you can.
I traded for sedan wheels and they look and fit way better. IMO plus I can put a bigger tire on.

Yep...I've seen several daily in blue on black. I may sell or trade them for polished.

Yep...which is why I am selling off cars & parts associated with them. I need space, and a house.
