This is for a drop in primary ZL1 bucket/sender assembly. All I did was take the factory primary ZL1 bucket sender cal info and put it into a G8 cal and left the secondary parts alone since nobody really changes the secondary parts over.

That's exactly what I did. Guess I'll just have to keep a closer eye on it. I appreciate the specs though.

I have a 2013 caprice ppv with a ZL1 fuel pump and i did not have to use this calibration. I do not have the issue that the g8 has with not going past full mark when filling up on a full tank

Hi all - yes old thread.
I have a 2008 MY09.5 Senator (basis for G8 GXP, LS3 & TR6060) & have put in a complete ZL1 pump/sender unit (so the primary fuel tank module, secondary was untouched). The gauge goes to full when you fill the tank.
However, the gauge is now ~1/8 optimistic, ie low fuel light comes on, gauge showing ~1/8 & it is almost empty as I can filled it with 72.33 litres in a supposedly 72 litre tank.
Just trying to ascertain if the attachment on the first page of this thread solves that issue, or does it only solve the gauge not going to full ?
    Thanks.
HSV Senator SV08 manual MY09.5. LS3 & TR6060. Eibach springs on factory MRC. Walkinshaw (HM) 2.5" catback. Currently being rebuilt.
