It frustrates me to no end that I cannot attend in person. Ideally I would drive from Oregon to Houston again. Charlie's totally worth the trip.

I too wish I could be there, with or without my G8.

There are several hotels in the area to stay at. The funeral home is in Sugar Land. It's on Highway 59 (northbound side) between William's Trace and Dairy Ashford. There are hotels on highway 6 that you can stay at. They are close to the funeral home. I'm not sure how much the rates are though. I will be at the service on Wednesday but I will not be able to make it on Thursday.

You'll be there in spirit then.

Edit: Would anyone that is going to the memorial tomorrow like to meet up before the service and convoy there? I know that if I were his family I would be moved by seeing a convoy of his G8 peers showing up in convoy. That's just my opinion. What do you guys think?
