    UPDATE:

These aftermarket cast heads must be paired up with the cam. my car was fast with them and the Livernois Stage 1 but I just paired them with a PatG spec'd cam.

    Its a new world.

What size chamber did you go with? Also, did you go hollow intake valves.

65CC chambers. I don't think I upgraded to hollow stem stainless.

Yea Richards car whips mine now. Those PRC heads just really like high lift.
The Livernois stage 1 cam just wasn't aggressive enough for those heads, primarily on the lift side of things.

Just got a used set of these heads. They came with Manley solid valves and new seals. Any recommendations for this setup? I already have a mild cam, VMS 1.5 cam, it is a high lift med duration setup. What valve springs should I get?

I just switched to a RCR cam. I will know more when I take to the strip.

my springs were transferred over from the Livernois Stage 1 DoD kit. dual springs that I think will handle up to .670 or .690 lift. my new cam is only .625/.624 lift

Just a thought, how much more torque can a G8GT drivetrain handle? the reason I ask is that used to build Ford V8 and 302 GMC engines the u joints, axles, trannys suffered as did the rear springs that bottomed on a slam shift.

I never do any 6-2 downshifts

If I was to make a run, I would go into manual mode and then WOT

There are plenty if guys making 430-499rwhp and they don't break transmission or axles

But like most things, it's luck or unluck of the draw
