Requires programming from an SCT authorized dealer/programmer.

This is NOT a DIY device. It can be loaded with 3 custom programs and each program can contain user-adjustable settings such as WOT timing, fuel, etc.

Also does complete data logging when you install the SCT software, so if you have a laptop, connect via USB and then plug the SCT device into the ODBII connector, good for logging runs, etc.

I have one and Torrie @ Unleashed tuning can provide tunes. Highly recommend him. My G8 run of 12.501 was with serious bogging and with stock converter and Hoosier DR's. Now have a 3,000 stall, but haven't had time to go stripping with it! Only have Vector 1.5 package, ported heads, Rotofab, Kooks 1 7/8 middies and a Magnaflow street system exhaust, plus Torrie's tuning. Potential high 11's on a cool night....

Is this unit currently unlocked and if so then how many changes does it have left? Those details would be pertinent in the sale of this item being that an unlock costs about $100 and these units sell for $379-$389 while new. Good luck with the sale OP. SCT makes some outstanding gear that rivals and surpasses the quality of HPT and EFILive in many cases.

I'll attach a pic showing the device information.

It is not married and has 5 unlocks left, though I presume any SCT dealer/tuner can take care of that.

Basically as long as you return to stock, you can have it programmed for any other VIN, but as I understand it, one vehicle at a time.
