QUOTE]I guess I haven't seen people using corrected ET and claiming their car did that time. [/QUOTE]
I'm not saying that anyone posted up corrected time and said their car ran that. What I am saying is that over the last couple of years I have noticed an increase in the tenor of some posts to imply, given these "corrected conditions" my car could run this time, if I only had those conditions. My question is...has your car ever run anywhere close to that time under any conditions? I pull up to a guy at the light, look over, we nod, and when the light turns green...we run'em corrected. I may as well be in the Tron scape, cause nothing is reality anymore.
Agreed. That is when I try to go to the track and cut real good times.Only get great air a few times a year.
Agreed. Some people are interested in making HP for a few seconds. I'm interested in what kind of HP did my car make today. I'm interested in what was my lowest ET today. I deal in the immediate, not the esoteric. Still, I understand that corrected allows you to correlate pulls or runs in dissimilar weather conditions for the purpose of comparison. That's fine. What I am zeroing in on is the finalizing statement on the data string some people post. When you end it with "and that corrects to a 12.32" you are not comparing it to your database of other corrected times. You are doing just what I am talking about! Also, every dyno number is corrected as well.
LMFAO!the corrected ET for my 09' is 0.01 at 756,000 mi a second. based on 4080 year times! And... DA paid no damn effect!
