I know this has probably been asked before, but what are the benefits to direct air (as in, right through our front grille-to-filter-to-tb-to-head) as compared to having the roto-fab, plenum extended out to behind the headlight assembly? What im really asking is, are there any benefits to not having in directly behind the grille as compared to having it right behind the grille? Hp+ (no tune)? Fuel mileage? And overall, cost? (also, ease of installation, more/less parts?) that sort of thing.
Which intake system (without a tune) gives you more bang for your buck? And which intake system gives is more cost-effective (with a tune [93 oct,stock everything else, possibly leaner a/f mix])
if anyone could respond it would be greatly appreciated. I just dont have the time to go through every post on forums. Thanks
