Default Catch can oil looks Chocolate Milky

So I just emptied my catch can and the oil in in looked like chocolate milk. What could cause this? I checked the oil in the pan using the dipstick and it looked perfect. If I had a blown head gasket wouldn't the oil the pan look milky too? The car sat for about a week at a body shop and was not driven much. It ran fine on the way home and I have not driven it since. Here is a picture of the oil from the catch can.

Condensation, temperature changes, etc. I would empty it, drive it for a week and check it again.

    It's not oil.
It's condensed vapours from inside the crankcase.
Vapours can be air (containing water), combustion gasses, oil mist/droplets.

Need to drive the car to get heated up real good to get rid of all the moisture in the engine. Nothing worse then not getting the engine and tranny heated up. A good 20+ miles will cure that.

Thanks for the information. I am going to get the car out and drive it this week since it will be nice out. It was sitting in and outside of 30 degree temperature swings last week and was never really warmed up good. I am due for an oil change soon so I think I will go ahead and do it and see what it looks like when it comes out of the pan. Scared the shit out of me though when I saw that last night.

That's because you forgot to pour two pounds of sugar into your gas tank first. That adds the sweetener to the chocolate milk in the catch can.

Condensation. I usually see it when I change oil on customer cars.
