10.5" wide plus 42 offset fits on rears?

I managed to get C5 Z06 knockoffs to fit. They are 10.5 x 18 with 58mm offset - and a 3mm spacer brings that down to about 55mm. I'm really low as well, and the inside 1/4" lip of the fender is trimmed. There is still another 1/2 or 3/4" on the inside for more tire. This is a M/T 305 drag radial, not a small tire:

If your dimension are right, why did you need the spacer? Seems like w/o spacer you would be perfect.

I think the spacer is to clear the rear Brembo calipers he has.
