I've also noticed that the TPS isn't at 0% when my foot is off the throttle. Just went out and checked it and my TPS reads a whopping 19%-22% when the pedal is all the way up. No clue why, but it's never caused an issue.

Mine, idling in park, after the 30 second idle down is at 6%. I've never checked it while driving. I think 0% would mean no fuel is being sent. I looked at it the first time when I was checking my battery charge and just wondered what everthing else showed.

True. It can't be closed, or no air would enter and engine would die. Anyway, it's a voltage conversion. Not everyone's TPS is going to have the same exact voltage.

I hear what you all are saying, but 9% just seemed high to me...

Not to sound ignorant here but can all models see this? Do you have to have the upgraded radio or something? I just have the base model.

Yup, all models can see this as it is not a function of your radio. With your car off, press and hold the Enter button on your steering wheel (I think it's the roller on the left, but either way it's the one you use for selecting options on the DIC), then turn your car battery on (or go all the way and start it) while holding that button. This will bring up Engineering Mode on your DIC. Then scroll down to Throttle Percent. That's it!

Mine used to be around 12% when just idling.

Dashhawk says same on mine for TPS. It also has an "Absolute Throttle Position" as well. The GXP has the Space Shuttle indicator known as "Full Throttle Up" LOL
