It'll be less than 500 miles before you throw it again is my bet. Once thrown, it means your tensioner is shot. With some help, I put it back on again first time and threw it again two days later. Of course, that time I also overstressed the tensioner. The dealer replaced the tensioner and I threw the belt again at VIR.

I would be buying my 3rd tensioner this time...hopefully Pauls fix will be my last tensioner!
after opening my hood, finally looked at the belt, as I was going to put it back on and drive to work...DAMN TENSIONER IS BROKEN IN HALF!!!

Yes I have the A/C belt throwing fix (bracket with new idler and new tensioner) and the belt to suit stock crank pulley/balancer....both in stock currently.

Sounds from your other post like you are also chasing the A/C pulley? I'll go check.

I got mine today. Thanks Paul.

I am, however, dreading the installation.

    Excellent.
Can be as easy as an hour with a hoist or as bad as half a day and a box of bandages without a hoist.

I was also. Just tackled this (thanks, paul for the quick delivery). A 13mm and 15mm socket is all that is needed. remove the compressor to the side/front (3 bolts). the bracket is now very accessable. remove the 5 bolts and 1 nut holding it in. Bolt the new one in exactly as the old one was. No change. Very easy. It looks intimidating due to it's location.
