I did the Russel brake lines, dot 4 syn fluid change x2, Bendix ceramic brake pads. I like the firmer feel of the brake lines, slightly noticeable. The Bendix feel exactly like stock and work well, I thought for stock brakes mine works fine for my driving. I heard from several places the raybes Advanced Technology pads were disappointing. I will prob keep the Bendix pads in rear and upgrade the front pads to something sexy but not eat my rotors(My fav pad they dont make for our car Performance friction carbon metallic)I will try the bobcats or something well known that wont eat my rotors but are a real upgrade.
Honestly i would just use the OEM brembo pad that they use on the cts v for yo,. seems to work well.

Don't go with the with the "Raybestos Advanced Technology Pads"......

They fell apart on me after a few thousand miles and I didn't even abuse them.....I went with the Autozone Ceramic Pads and they are great, don't know if they make them for the CTS-V....

What are you looking for out of your front brakes? Higher friction which will come with more dust and noise or sacrifice some friction but get less dust and noise?

She gets driven daily, around 25k a year, and maybe a little autocross action here and there. I'm fine with the way she brakes currently. I'm running Bendix Ceramic pads up front now, which provide less dust compared to the OEM pads. I believe I'll be sticking with Ceramic pads all around.

    Okay. PM coming your way.

Another question. For the number you have listed as caliper bolt (P/N 18041878), has that been verified? I show that as being the wheel stud. I show the caliper to knuckle bolts as being 18060356.

No need to buy $150 brake lines. I bought lines yesterday for about $80. I'll be supplying part numbers tomorrow once I ensure fitment tonight. Basically, for the front at least, you buy 21" long lines at $12, banjo fittings for $8 and -4 to clip fittings for $7. Put it all together, and you have SS lines for half the price.
